Pocket Voice values your privacy and complies with applicable laws.

1. Data We Collect

No account signup is required, and we do not collect direct identifiers such as name, email address, or phone number inside the app.
Person names, photos, short voice recordings, sort order, and widget selections that you add are stored locally on your device and in the App Group container for widget functionality.
App settings such as language preference are stored locally on your device.
We do not collect or store this information on a separate server.

2. Purpose of Use

Provide person list management and voice playback features
Display selected person photos and names in iOS Home Screen widgets
Provide recording preview and widget-linked playback
Restore your settings when reopening the app

3. Permissions

Microphone: Used to record voice clips up to 10 seconds.
Photo Library: Used to let you select photos for people and widget backgrounds.
Widgets and App Group: Used so the app and widget can access the same photos, recordings, and person data.

4. Retention and Deletion

Photos, recordings, and settings are stored on your device or in the App Group container. They may be removed when you delete a person in the app or delete the app.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except where required by law.

6. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14.
